At Garner E-Free, we seek to create opportunities for students to know the gospel and be known by the church.
Middle School
​
Sunday School: 9:00-9:45 am Sunday
Sunday School is for 5th-8th graders to come together for biblical instruction, fellowship and prayer. this time provides a great environment to ask questions and dive deeper into Scripture. Location: Garner E-Free Church.
Youth Group: 5:30-7:30 pm Wednesday
Middle School Youth Group is for 5th-8th Grade students to gather for a meal, singing, games, friendship, prayer and biblical lessons. This time connects the truth of God to the lives of middle school students and challenges them to take Jesus seriously. Location: Garner E-Free Church.
High School Ministry
Youth Group: 6:30-8:00 pm Sunday
Youth Group is a place where high school students gather to think, love, welcome and serve together. We will cover a variety of applicable topics from scripture, seeing how the good news of Jesus changes our lives everyday. Location: Garner E-Free Church.
Bible Study: Weekly
We host Bible studies each week, one for the girls and one for the boys. This is a time for high school students to dive deeper into scripture and to explore their faith together. Times and locations vary, contact us for more information.
Special Events
Winter Blast: 6th-8th Grade
February
Winter Blast is a retreat for all 6th-8th grade students that is held at Hidden Acres each winter. With high energy gatherings, great speakers and recreational time both indoors and in the snow, Winter Blast is both spiritually impactful and a lot of fun.

IMPACT: 9th-12th grade
January
IMPACT is a High School only retreat that usually takes place the first full weekend in January each year. The conference runs from Friday night through Sunday noon in either Des Moines or Iowa City. IMPACT includes compelling worship, amazing speakers, breakout sessions, and great opportunities to build relationships.

Challenge: 9th-12th Grade
Summer
Challenge is an every other year conference for high school students that combines great worship and challenging speakers, service and outreach opportunities, training sessions on pertinent topics and recreational activities. It is an opportunity for youth groups to worship and learn together, to play together and to be challenged to grow in their faith as individuals and as a group - to become effective Christ followers who IMPACT their world for Jesus Christ.
